Lanka Bell launches voice SMS

Sri Lankan wireless in the local loop (WiLL) operator Lanka Bell has become the first fixed line provider in the country to launch voice-based SMS messaging, under the brand name ‘Bell Voice SMS’. The new service enables users to record and send voice messages up to 30 seconds in length to any domestic network, fixed or mobile.
