Bouygues’ HSDPA goes live, paper says

Bouygues Télécom has reportedly soft-launched its HSDPA network, says AFP, citing a spokesman for the French mobile operator. The service will initially be available to a select group of companies whose employees use PCMCIA laptop datacards. The cellco has not said what portion of its network is HSDPA-ready, but it is believed to have complied with Arcep’s 30 April 2007 deadline concerning 3G/3.5G readiness.
