Telekom Malaysia receives USD52 million settlement to bow out of GT

Telekom Malaysia™ has formally completed the sale of its 30% holding in Ghana Telecommunications (GT) to the Ghanaian government. In a statement published on 20 April, TM said it had received full settlement of the sum owned in accordance with the terms and conditions of the transaction. The Malaysian firm had held the interest through its G-Com subsidiary, an 85%-owned unit of TM International.
