Meditel launches HSDPA

Moroccan alternative fixed line and mobile operator Meditel announced yesterday the launch of 3.5G HSDPA mobile data services under the Mobile ADSL banner in Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech. Available through a PC/laptop data card or USB modem, coverage of the new high speed service is being expanded to airports and train stations and will later be rolled out in all Moroccan cities, according to a company statement.
