ICE celebrates GPRS launch

Costa Rica’s ICE Celular has announced that it has rolled out mobile internet services for GSM handsets via its newly installed GPRS network, writes BNamericas. The service has an estimated transfer speed of 42kbps and can handle 82,000 simultaneous users. Subscribers wishing to use the GPRS network must pay CRC3,500 (USD6.73) a month.
