TP Group aims for a million wireless net adds in 2007

3 Apr 2007

Polish telecommunications company TP Group has announced that it hopes to add a million wireless customers to its ranks in 2007, despite the launch last month of a fourth network operator. Grazyna Piotrowska-Oliwa, the incoming head of Orange Poland, told a news conference she was targeting 13.5 million customers by the end of the year, up from the 12.5 million registered at the end of 2006. ‘We’ll see how many customers P4 can get and how many mobile virtual network operators appear,’ Piotrowska-Oliwa said. ‘[But] we want to increase our customer base by a net one million.’
