Digiweb wins mobile wideband licence in Norway

Irish broadband provider Digiweb has won a mobile wideband licence in Norway, allowing it to roll out high speed mobile voice and data services in 2008. The concession and spectrum is the same type as that held by the Irish telco in its domestic market. Digiweb plans to announce details of the technology being used and its capabilities once phase one of the network is launched in Ireland in the second quarter of this year.
