Ericsson delivers HSPA network for DNA Finland

1 Feb 2007

Ericsson has announced the successful completion of DNA Finland’s 3G network upgrade. Signed in late December 2006, the contract includes a commercial high-speed packet access (HSPA) software upgrade. The completion of the network follows Ericsson’s earlier installation of HSPA-capable base-station hardware which boosts mobile internet speeds and decreases uplink and downlink delays. DNA has over a million subscribers and its net sales in 2006 totalled EUR365 million (USD473 million).
