Gloomy prospects for telecoms IPOs

Thai state-run telcos TOT and CAT Telecom have once again shelved their plans to list on the stock exchange – already five years overdue – until regulatory issues including interconnection fees, network access charges and 3G licences are cleared up. The planned IPOs are now not expected until 2008 at the earliest.
