Go Go Navigo WiMAX

20 Dec 2006

Wireless internet service provider Navigo Broadband has launched what it claims is the first WiMAX network in the far north of Canada. Navigo’s new high speed wireless internet service in Whitehorse, Yukon, is being offered to residential and small business customers using WiMAX technology. The network currently covers more than 70% of households in Whitehorse, and the company is considering further expansion. Navigo is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwestel, a division of Bell Canada.
