Ericsson bags Warid deal

10 Nov 2006

Ericsson has won a four-year contract with Bangladeshi cellco Warid Telecom for network expansion and managed services, including the supply and rollout of a GSM/GPRS network in the capital Dhaka. The latest deal follows two contracts won earlier this year which covered the roll out of Warid’s packet core and backbone transmission network equipment for Warid’s network in other parts of the country. The value of the deal has not been made public.
