Globul seeks fixed wireless concession

Wireless operator Cosmo Bulgaria, which brands its services under the Globul banner, is reported to be interested in winning a forthcoming fixed wireless licence. According to the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC), five companies have submitted applications for the concession thus far; namely Cosmo, BTC, Trans Telecom, Nexcom and Max Telecom. The new licence will allow national coverage and carries a 15-year term of validity. Interested parties have until 28 November to notify the regulator of their intention to bid.
