25 Oct 2006

Thailand’s second largest mobile operator Digital Total Access Communications (DTAC) reported to the Singapore Stock Exchange yesterday that its third-quarter net profit increased 17.1% year-on-year to THB1.2 billion (USD32 million) on revenues that rose 13.6% to THB36.1 billion. EBITDA rose 10.2% to THB4.4 billion compared to 3Q 2005, but the EDITDA margin fell 2.3% to 35.8%. DTAC is 70.6%-owned by Norway’s Telenor, via nominee companies.
