Mobile carriers told to cut termination fees by 2009

The Hungarian telecommunications regulator, the National Communications Authority (NHH), has announced that the country’s mobile service operators will be asked to cut their termination fees by between 40% and 50% until January 2009. According to reports from, the proposed cuts form part of the regulator’s earlier plans for mobile termination, published in June 2006.
