Nokia wins Vivatel deal

Nokia has won its first network deal with Bulgarian cellco BTC Mobile (which operates under the brand Vivatel). Under the terms of the deal Nokia will improve GSM coverage and prepare it for 3G launch by supplying GSM/EDGE/W-CDMA/HSDPA radio network and 3G core network services. The network will be supported by the Nokia NetAct network and service management system; deliveries started last month.
