It is upgrading its 450MHz CDMA2000 network in Krasnodar with EV-DO technology to enhance data transmission speeds. The deal has been awarded through SkyLink’s regional subsidiary Krasnodar Cellular Network, with high speed services offered under the name Sky Turbo. The firm’s deputy general director, Alexandr Piotrovsky, said: “Sky Turbo brings new, profitable multimedia services to the region and will help grow Sky Link’s reputation as a full-service 3G operator,” reported Cellular News.
