Digiweb wins EUR20 million investment

4 Sep 2006

Irish broadband provider Digiweb has completed a EUR20 million funding round in conjunction with investment firm Moritz Group for the expansion of its national networks. To date the company has financed the deployment of its infrastructure solely through its own capital expenditure programme and the reinvestment of revenues. Digiweb launched its Metro service in mid-2005 and currently offers a bundled broadband and voice telephony package for less than EUR20 a month.
