TeliaSonera Finland to cut 165 jobs

1 Sep 2006

TeliaSonera Finland has revealed plans to cut 165 jobs as part of a restructuring of its customer service and systems operations. The division currently employs around 2,700 staff in total. TeliaSonera has said that the affected staff will not be from the 1,000-strong pool of employees who represent direct points of customer contact, saying instead that it is actually looking to recruit up to 100 new staff in that area.
