Kyivstar rejects MVNO proposal

Ukrainian mobile market leader Kyivstar has rejected a proposal by Russian mobile handset retailer Euroset to launch MVNO services over its GSM network, reports Cellular News. Kyivstar said that hosting a virtual operator would not fit in with its marketing policy, although it will continue to work with Euroset on non-core mobile services and GPRS roaming. Euroset submitted the request in December 2005.
