Siemens to upgrade BH Telecom GSM capacity

The largest fixed line, mobile and data communications operator in Bosnia-Herzegovina, BH Telecom, has contracted Siemens to provide it with equipment to increase its GSM mobile subscriber capacity by 13% to 1.2 million. The deal is reportedly worth EUR2.9 million (USD3.64 million) and follows a contract handed to Ericsson in May for the upgrade of BH Telecom’s network to enable new advanced services.
