China loans Ghana USD66 million for telecoms projects

The Chinese government is loaning Ghana USD66 million to fund a telecoms upgrade and other projects in the country. In recent years China has developed a strong relationship with West Africa, and it has agreed a low-interest loan for a number of initiatives, including a plan to expand and upgrade the PSTN, and improve internet access.
