Cosmoté to boost retail profile with purchase of Germanos stake

Greek mobile operator Cosmoté has agreed to purchase a 42% stake in Balkan phone retailer Germanos from Panos Germanos. Germanos has outlets in all countries where Cosmoté operates except Albania, with around 330 retail sites in Greece, 73 stores in Bulgaria and operations in Romania and FYROM. Cosmoté currently owns 25 outlets in Greece in addition to its parent OTE’s distribution network of more than 400 shops.
