ComReg to get greater powers?

According to the Irish Independent, the Irish government is expected to amend upcoming telecoms legislation to give the country’s telecoms regulator ComReg greater power to enforce competition law in the market. The move is designed to improve Ireland’s standing in the provision of telecoms services, especially the rollout of broadband across the country.
