Operators to be allowed into no-go zone?

According to cellular-news, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is considering allowing existing mobile operators the opportunity to provide services in the northernmost area of the country by extending the remit of their licences for a fee of USD10 million. Mobile phones are currently forbidden in the area.
