Tesco to enter Irish mobile market

27 Mar 2006

UK-based supermarket chain Tesco says it is close to signing an MVNO deal with O2 Ireland and hopes to become the fifth player in the market as early as May or June. Vodafone Ireland has been in talks with Clever Communications about a similar deal, but talks were abandoned after both sides failed to agree terms.
