Maroc Télécom’s profits up 12%

Moroccan fixed line operator Maroc Télécom has reported net income in 2005 of MAD5.809 billion (USD633.6 million), up by 12% on the previous year, on revenues that rose 16% year-on-year. The company said it expected further revenue growth in 2006 of between 6% and 8%, with earnings from operations (EFO) expected to increase by between 12% and 14%.
