Nitel sale to go ahead by June, says Obasanjo

Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo has said that the government will fast track the sale of fixed line incumbent Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (Nitel), to make sure that it goes ahead by June at the latest. The government hopes that the sale will inject some much needed foreign investment into the telecoms sector.
