Telecoms market sales grow 20% in 2005

According to a study by Argentine financial analysts Prince & Cooke, the country’s telecoms market saw sales grow by 20% during 2005 to ARS15.6 billion (USD5.12 billion), with the majority of the growth coming from the mobile and broadband markets. At the end of 2005 there were around 20 million mobile subscribers and 810,000 broadband customers in Argentina. The market is forecast to grow by a further 17% during 2006.
