Warid receives Bangladeshi mobile licence, says it will launch in nine months

UAE-based operator Warid Telecom, which won a licence to provide mobile services in Bangladesh earlier this month, has received its concession from the Bangladesh Telecommunications Regulatory Commission. Following the award, Warid announced that it will launch operations in the country in nine months and set a target of signing up six million subscribers in three years.
