DNA announces 3G launch

Finnish mobile operator DNA Finland yesterday launched its 3G network in metropolitan Helsinki, Tampere and Lahti, and announced plans to extend coverage to all major cities during the course of 2006. The company’s UMTS network was delivered and installed by Ericsson of Sweden. DNA Finland joins TeliaSonera and Elisa in launching 3G operations in the country.
