Nokia to expand AIS GSM network

Thai mobile operator Advanced Info Services (AIS) has contracted Nokia to expand and upgrade its GSM network in the northern, central and southern regions of the country in a deal worth USD55 million. Nokia will improve network coverage and capacity, enabling AIS to boost service quality and offer an improved portfolio of multimedia services.
