WiLL operators threaten to quit market

Pakistan’s wireless in the local loop (WiLL) operators have hinted that they may wrap up their operations in the country because of restricted mobility in the market. The operators have also asked the Lahore Higher Court to direct the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to pay back their licence fees. If the operators carry out their threat, the PTA fears that it would deliver a major blow to the market, as most local companies had convinced foreign investors to contribute towards the introduction of WiLL technology.
