Hyvästi Tele2

26 Oct 2005

The Finnish mobile reseller Tele2 says customers have until the end of next month to either cancel their subscriptions or transfer their number to another operator. The Swedish-owned firm, which announced in August that it was leaving the Finnish market due to competition and regulatory concerns, says pre-paid subscribers will be given a refund for any unused call time. Tele2 Finland had previously had its 3G licence revoked by local telecoms authorities after failing to meet minimum rollout requirements.
