Irish facility to become third Vodafone data centre

24 Oct 2005

Vodafone Ireland’s Dublin-based data centre has been chosen by Vodafone Group to be upgraded to become one of three major locations to be responsible for the mobile group’s worldwide data storage and systems needs. The decision will see Vodafone investing more than EUR8 million in the centre by 2007, including the creation of 50 new jobs. Vodafone Ireland’s data centre joins facilities already appointed in Italy and Germany.
