30 Sep 2005

UK-based telecoms service provider Toucan yesterday announced the launch of its new home phone service, ToucanTalk, in the Netherlands. The company is offering users easy, inexpensive calling with the additional benefit of a simple flat-rate ‘all-in’ monthly price plan. The new service is priced at EUR7.95/month giving customers access to unlimited calls, anytime, to regional and national fixed line numbers, plus cheap rates for international calls and calls to mobiles. Toucan is the consumer telecoms brand of IDT Europe, which is part of the international telecommunications, entertainment and technology company IDT Corporation. It was first launched in the UK in January 2004. In the UK Toucan now offers internet access, directory enquiries and mobile services, in addition to the ToucanTalk home phone service.
