Vodafone keeps it simple for the Irish

1 Sep 2005

Vodafone Ireland has launched its ‘Vodafone Simply’ service, a mobile offering designed specifically for users wanting a ‘no frills’ package of basic voice and text services. Already available in Portugal, Spain and the UK, Vodafone Simply offers users the choice of two Sagem phones – both featuring large screens promising uncluttered, legible text and shortcut keys for commonly used services – and a number of tailored, straightforward price plans. The cellco says the service is the result of consumer feedback that pinpointed how many of its customers, particularly older users, were struggling with feature-packed handsets and/or simply did not want the full range of value added services on offer.
