Tariffs under scrutiny

Portugal’s telecoms regulator Anacom has begun an investigation into tariffs charged by a number of the country’s mobile service providers. Anacom is studying the low-end tariffs of Vodafone, Uzo and Rede4 to see how they impact competition and to determine whether there has been any collaboration between operators. The regulator says prices were almost unchanged between January 2002 and March 2005.
