True predicts 10% rise in ’05 revenues

4 Aug 2005

Thailand’s largest private fixed line and mobile operator True Corp says it expects revenues for 2005 to grow by at least 10% year-on-year thanks to strong demand for its core mobile and internet access services. True Corp, which has nearly two million fixed line subscribers and which owns 83% of the country’s third largest mobile operator TA Orange, posted revenues of THB33 billion (USD798 million) last year. TA Orange had 4.06 million subscribers at the end of June and says it is on track to sign up a total of 4.2 million by the year end.
