KPN eyes TV expansion

Fresh from its buyout of local telco Telfort, the Dutch operator KPN is considering another acquisition. According to reports from De Telegraaf, KPN is readying an offer for Dutch TV and radio network owner Nozema which is currently state-owned. The purchase price is thought to be between EUR50 million and EUR100 million. A takeover would also increase KPN’s holding in the digital terrestrial TV broadcaster Digitenne from 40% to 80%.
