Huawei the lads: Chinese vendor wins not one, but two CAT contracts

Huawei Technologies has won two separate auctions for projects for Thai state owned operator CAT Telecom, with a combined bid of THB441 million (USD10.7 million) that was 70% less than the median price set by the telco. The projects include the construction of a submarine fibre-optic cable network and the expansion and upgrade of part of CAT’s existing infrastructure.
