KPN on track for Wi-Fi expansion

15 Jun 2005

KPN of the Netherlands has expanded its public access wireless LAN network by installing new hotspots at the main rail stations in Utrecht and The Hague. Dutch station operator NS and KPN are branding the service NS Hotspots and the pair say they will extend their partnership to cover a further 28 stations by September. Scratch cards are available for one hour, priced at EUR5, one day (EUR10) or one week (EUR15). The cards also give access at more than 200 KPN Wi-Fi hotspots across the Netherlands.
