Nokia wins deal to expand Elisa network

Elisa Communications has selected Nokia to expand its 2G and 3G networks in Finland and Estonia. Under the frame agreement signed between the two, Nokia will supply Elisa with 2G and 3G radio networks solutions including High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) technology, as well as expanding the operator’s circuit core and packet core networks. The latest deal is an extension of the two companies’ frame agreement signed in 2001.
