Inter-carrier WiFi service launched

The Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA), in association with mobile operators Bell Mobility, Rogers Wireless, Microcell and TELUS, have announced the formation of an inter-carrier WiFi service, which will rollout an additional 500 hotspots across the country to take the total to 1,000. Under the roaming alliance all public commercial hotspots operated by the carriers will be marketed under a single brand.
