Government split over ICE reform bill

18 May 2005

A bill intended to increase the competitiveness of Costa Rican telecoms monopoly ICE has caused a parliamentary divide, according to BNamericas. Other MPs have disagreed, arguing that if concessions are awarded fairly by the legislative assembly there will be no anti-competitive concerns.
