Ryanair mulls European MVNO launch

Irish based ‘no frills’ airline Ryanair is looking to emulate its UK-based rival easyJet by entering the mobile phone market, and is currently in negotiations with wireless operators in Ireland, Germany, the UK and Italy with regard to launching MVNO services. Chief executive Michael O’Leary told local news sources that the airline is in talks with ‘a number of suppliers’, but added that the company will wait until the time is right and is in no hurry to tie-up a deal.
