Vodafone launches Wi-Fi

26 Apr 2005

Vodafone Ireland has partnered up with Wi-Fi operators BT Openzone and Bitbuzz to offer its customers Wi-Fi access at more than 140 hotspots across the country. The service requires pre-registration and is then charged at EUR5 per 30 minutes. Vodafone claims that its Wi-Fi package provides the largest number of access points in Ireland and also allows subscribers to use hotspots in Europe without additional roaming charges.
