WorldTel plans Dhaka WiLL launch

Bangladeshi operator WorldTel has signed a deal with Chinese equipment provider ZTE Corp to install a CDMA-based wireless in the local loop (WiLL) network in Dhaka by October 2005. WorldTel has earmarked USD120 million for the rollout and plans to offer limited mobility phone services to a maximum of 200,000 residents of the city.
