Teletalk to launch full nationwide services

Teletalk, the new cellular arm of the Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board (BTTB), will complete the launch of full nationwide commercial services by the end of this month, with BTTB claiming to have earmarked USD132 million for its GSM network rollout, with infrastructure provided by Siemens and Huawei. The company says it is initially aiming for a quarter of a million subscribers, with an eventual target of a million.
