Worldcall selects Verso for VoIP network

Private telecommunications service provider WorldCall Telecommunications has chosen Verso Technologies to build out its voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure in Pakistan. Under the terms of the deal, Verso will supply its Clarent BHG 2500 gateway and the Class 4 and Class 5 soft switch applications. Worldcall holds licences to provide international long distance and local loop telephony services in the country and currently operates in three cities; it plans to expand to 14 over the next few months. The operator also holds a WiLL limited mobility licence.
