PTCL posts rise in profit for H1

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has reported a 9.3% rise in net profit for the first half of its fiscal year to date to PKR14.52 billion. Revenues rose by 6.4% to PKR39.16 billion, up from PKR36.79 billion at the same time the previous year. Operating profit increased by 2.6% to PKR20.82 billion, while costs for the year also rose, by 11% to PKR18.33 billion.
